I was featured on The Telegraph website in a gallery of images taken by Rory Moore. Here I am getting in position as an adult pilot whale turns towards my camera in the Strait of Gibraltar in the Mediterranean. These images show how the curious animals – which rarely encounter humans because of strict diving restrictions due to heavy shipping traffic in the Strait – came and investigated our team, transfixed by their reflections in the camera lens.
