Blue sharks are arguably one of the most beautiful shark species with their magnificently streamlined and slender lines as well as their indigo colouration. They can reach up to 3.5 meters in lengths and feed on a variety of schooling fish and squid. Up close they look more at home on a Finding Nemo film set.

These sharks were photographed in the cobalt blue pelagic waters 30 miles off Cape Point in South Africa with my supremely talented and good friends Monique and Chris Fallows, famous for his spectacular Great White ‘Air Jaws’ shots.
